In this tutorial, I will show you how to crochet a small graduation cap that can also be made into a keychain.
I will use 2 mm yarn and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. I use blue yarn in this tutorial so that the crochet steps are easier to see.

Round 1
MR, 6 sc
Wrap the yarn, then insert the hook into the magic ring. Pull through the magic ring, then yarn over and pull through 2 loops. This is the first single crochet.
Continue making single crochet stitches until you complete the round. Close the round with a slip stitch in the first stitch, then chain 1.
Round 2
Increase in every stitch. Then close the round.
Round 3
Make 1 single crochet in the BLO of every stitch. Mark the front loop of the 4 corner stitches. Then close the round.
Round 4
Make 1 single crochet in the normal way in every stitch. Then use a yarn needle to weave in the yarn end.
Round 5
Put the yarn from the ball through the needle, then insert the needle into the stitch near the marker. Then make 1 single crochet.
At each corner, make 1 single crochet, 1 chain, 1 single crochet.
Then make 1 single crochet in the next 2 stitches.
Repeat around until you complete the round.
At the end, make 1 single crochet, then fasten off.
Make a tassel and sew it onto the cap.
The opening of the cap is approximately 1 cm.
It can also be made into a keychain.
